Substituições táticas no futebol de elite
Análise das seleções finalistas da Copa do Mundo FIFA 2018
Resumo
Introdução: O futebol contemporâneo caracteriza-se por elevada complexidade tática e demandas físicas intensas, nas quais pequenas decisões estratégicas podem impactar significativamente o desempenho coletivo. Nesse contexto, a Copa do Mundo da FIFA configura-se como principal ambiente de observação das tendências do jogo, especialmente após a introdução da quarta substituição em prorrogações na edição de 2018. Objetivo: Analisar a efetividade das substituições táticas realizadas pelas quatro seleções finalistas da Copa do Mundo FIFA 2018 (França, Croácia, Bélgica e Inglaterra), considerando a participação direta dos atletas suplentes em gols e assistências, bem como classificar as motivações associadas a cada substituição. Metodologia: Estudo de abordagem quanti-qualitativa, com análise de 24 partidas a partir de dados oficiais dos scouts da FIFA e observação sistemática em vídeo. As substituições foram classificadas por meio de análise de conteúdo temática em seis categorias: necessidade momentânea do placar, necessidade técnica, necessidade física, controle do tempo de jogo, lançamento de novos jogadores e mudança tática defensiva com placar consolidado. Resultados: Observou-se predominância de substituições por necessidade física, especialmente em fases eliminatórias. A Bélgica apresentou maior efetividade ofensiva dos suplentes, com três gols e uma assistência, enquanto França e Inglaterra não registraram participações diretas. Conclusão: A efetividade das substituições no futebol de elite depende do contexto competitivo e da intenção estratégica do treinador, envolvendo não apenas indicadores ofensivos, mas também a manutenção da estabilidade tática e física da equipe.
