Treinamento resistido de alta velocidade e mobilidade em idosos. Uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

Esta revisão sistemática teve como objetivo avaliar a eficácia do treinamento resistido de alta velocidade na melhoria da mobilidade de idosos com limitação de movimento. Foram inicialmente identificados 1667 artigos nas bases de dados Pubmed, Web of Science, Scopus, Embase e Lilacs, dos quais 1489 foram analisados e 6 selecionados para o estudo, com uma amostra de 374 idosos (118 homens e 256 mulheres), com idades entre 65 e 94 anos. O Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) foi o instrumento mais utilizado para avaliar a mobilidade (83,3%). Todos os estudos demonstraram melhorias na mobilidade e/ou na potência muscular dos membros inferiores. A qualidade metodológica variou de 12 a 13 pontos na escala Testex (máximo de 15). Conclui-se que o treinamento resistido de alta velocidade é eficaz na melhoria da mobilidade de idosos com limitações de mobilidade.
