Fortalecimiento del CORE: evaluación de la resistencia y fuerza muscular en corredores aficionados
Resumen
El estudio aborda la importancia de fortalecer el CORE en corredores amateurs, con el objetivo de prevenir lesiones y mejorar el rendimiento deportivo. Se trata de un estudio transversal, no probabilístico por conveniencia, realizado en Porto Velho – RO, en 2023, contó con 35 corredores con edades entre 26 y 50 años, de ambos sexos. El análisis estadístico reveló una prevalencia significativa de fortalecimiento muscular ocasional. Hubo diferencias de sexo en algunas pruebas, lo que destaca las disparidades en la fuerza y la resistencia del CORE. Las correlaciones positivas entre el fortalecimiento y las pruebas específicas indican su relevancia para evaluar la condición CORE. Los modelos de regresión lineal mostraron que las pruebas de flexión del tronco y puente lateral derecho e izquierdo son predictores significativos del fortalecimiento muscular. El análisis comparativo, basado en los resultados, sugiere la necesidad de enfoques de entrenamiento personalizados, considerando las diferencias entre sexos y centrándose en las pruebas de flexión del tronco, puente lateral derecho e izquierdo. La correlación positiva entre la experiencia, el volumen de entrenamiento y la frecuencia de carrera con el fortalecimiento muscular resalta la importancia del conocimiento adquirido durante la carrera. El estudio señala que los programas de entrenamiento específicos para fortalecer el CORE, con énfasis en pruebas de flexión de tronco, puente lateral derecho e izquierdo, son cruciales para prevenir lesiones y mejorar el rendimiento deportivo en corredores amateurs. La conciencia de la importancia del fortalecimiento muscular aumenta con la experiencia y la práctica intensiva.
