Carga interna y fuentes y síntomas de estrés durante el entrenamiento en atletas de CrossFit®
Un estudio piloto
Resumen
El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar las respuestas de carga de entrenamiento obtenidas del esfuerzo subjetivo percibido de la sesión (PSEsesión) y los signos y síntomas de estrés del Daily Analysis of Life Demands in Athletes (DALDA) durante cuatro semanas de entrenamiento de CrossFit®. Participaron en la investigación 10 atletas de CrossFit® que fueron monitoreados durante cuatro semanas de entrenamiento. Durante las semanas de seguimiento se evaluaron las cargas internas de entrenamiento de cada deportista, en las que al final de todas las sesiones se obtuvo el PSEsesión a partir de la respuesta de la escala CR-10 de cada deportista. Además, al final de cada semana de formación, los participantes respondieron el cuestionario DALDA. Los resultados mostraron que la carga de entrenamiento y las respuestas DALDA no presentaron diferencias significativas (p>0.05) entre las cuatro semanas de entrenamiento monitoreadas. Por lo tanto, se concluye que las cargas de entrenamiento y las respuestas DALDA no fueron diferentes en las cuatro semanas de entrenamiento de CrossFit®, indicando una posible relación entre las variables, ya que no se observaron mayores cambios en las respuestas de cargas y fuentes y síntomas de estrés. En cuanto a la aplicación práctica, el estudio refuerza la importancia de monitorear el entrenamiento utilizando métodos válidos que ayuden a los entrenadores, atletas y practicantes de CrossFit® a prescribir correctamente las cargas de entrenamiento.
