Treinamento funcional adaptado para o desenvolvimento psicomotor em adolescentes com transtorno do espectro do autismo

Resumo

O estudo examina a implementação e eficácia de um programa de treinamento funcional adaptado (TFA) para adolescentes com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), utilizando uma metodologia mista durante 24 semanas de intervenção. Os resultados demonstram melhorias significativas no desenvolvimento psicomotor, incluindo equilíbrio, coordenação e habilidades motoras, bem como avanços notáveis ​​nos aspectos socioemocionais e cognitivos. A pesquisa, apoiada em avaliações quantitativas por meio do Teste de Desenvolvimento Psicomotor (TEPSI) e feedback qualitativo de pais e terapeutas, mostra que a personalização de exercícios funcionais não só melhora o desenvolvimento físico, mas também promove autonomia e integração social. Os resultados sublinham a importância da incorporação de programas de TFA em ambientes educacionais e terapêuticos, destacando a sua contribuição para uma intervenção abrangente que melhora significativamente a qualidade de vida dos adolescentes com TEA e das suas famílias.
