The Multiple Intelligences in Physical Education and After-School Games
Abstract
The present work of systematic review analyzes the relationships between sports participation and extracurricular games and Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences (MI) in school-age children. After the selection of a keyword, selection of databases for information search and screening and analysis of the selected documentation, it was concluded that after the review carried out it has been concluded that participation in school sports contributes to development of different types of specific intelligence. Women between 18 and 25 years are mostly developed linguistic intelligence, visual. Men between 18 and 25 logical intelligences, body-kinetic intelligence and interpersonal-social intelligence. In the case of body-kinetic intelligence, both groups are favored in their development, especially in younger ages, under 18 years.
