Trail Running and Mountain Running: The Adventure that Changes your Body and Mind
Abstract
In a fast-paced world, trail running and mountain running offer an escape to reconnect with nature. Unlike conventional running, it is practiced on unpredictable terrain with uneven terrain, and is more than a sport: a way of life that demands adaptation and enjoyment of the journey. This sport strengthens the cardiovascular system, balance, and coordination, while reducing stress and promoting concentration. It also exercises decision-making and emotional management. Mountain running varies in distance and difficulty, and to get started, only basic equipment such as specific shoes and a hydration pack is required. It is an activity that fosters a passionate community and the exploration of unique landscapes.
