Abstract
The Minor Leagues of Baseball in Latin America are more than talent pools, they are pillars of sport and culture. In countries such as the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Mexico, these leagues play a crucial role in the development of young players who dream of reaching the Major Leagues (MLB). The minor leagues provide training, competition and opportunities for young players to develop their skills and prepare for professional baseball. They contribute to generating jobs and investment in local communities, boosting the regional economy. Baseball is a passion in many Latin American countries, and the minor leagues are a pillar of cultural identity and a source of national pride. Minor League Baseball in Latin America is a story that shows the power of sport to transform lives and communities in these countries.
