Sports and Physical Well-Being: An Integral Relationship
Abstract
Sports practice not only improves physical condition, but also has a positive impact on mental health, increasing self-esteem and reducing stress and anxiety levels. Incorporating physical activity into your daily routine is essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Proper nutrition is essential to maximize the benefits of sport. A balanced diet, rich in essential nutrients, provides the energy necessary for sports performance and helps in muscle recovery. The balance between proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals is crucial to maintaining a healthy body and prepared for physical effort. Furthermore, sport is a means of entertainment and socialization.
