Importance and Benefits of Sports Video Analysis for Coaches and Players
Abstract
Video analytics helps coaches and players retrieve various data and use it effectively, enabling better decision making. The analysis of sports videos collaborates with the evaluation of the player's performance with greater precision, in technical, tactical and psychological aspects. Video data can be collected live and recorded for later presentation. There are different platforms that provide alternatives such as zooming in on the image, using the screen to draw lines and arrows to represent comments.
