Perceived Satisfaction in Sport Centers in the Province of Seville, Spain

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the degree of satisfaction and perceived quality of users of sports services in different sports centers in the province of Seville, Spain. The participants in this study were adult and older subjects (>18 years) of both sexes, 41.2% were between 18 and 25 years, 21.6% between 26 and 30 years, 9.8% between 31 and 35 years, 9.8% between 36 and 40 years, 9.8% between 41 and 50 years, and 7.8% over 50 years. The Sports Services Questionnaire (EPOD2) was used to carry out the survey, rated according to the Likert Scale. The results show that most of the variables (enjoyable activities, the cleanliness or spaciousness of the facilities, the modernity of the materials, as well as the treatment received from the sports center staff, among others), obtain a significantly positive evaluation. It can be concluded, therefore, that the satisfaction and quality perceived by the users is high, showing only needs for improvement in specific aspects of some dimensions.
