What are the Determining Factors for a Team to Win
And how Odds and Probabilities are Calculated
Abstract
There are factors that contribute to the outcome of a game such as team strength, home field, weather issues and injuries. Odds determine the probabilities that a team will win, draw or lose. Depending on each sport, weather conditions and height are factors that must be taken into account. Playing at home is an issue that has a great influence on the result. Most players feel more comfortable playing in their own stadium, in front of their home crowd. The confidence derived from a good streak or the insecurity caused by several losses in a row is decisive in future results. Ultimately, what happens on the field of play is what matters most and what decides the final result.
