How to evaluate the technician-tactical performance during the competition of the table tennis?
Abstract
The technical-tactical evaluation in table tennis is related to the ideal technical model traditionally assumed in this sport, which needs a well finished technique as the responsible of the competitive performance, using indicators referring to the technical execution out of the game context and assuming evaluative criteria used in other ball sports. This paper is part of a research referring to the evaluation of the technical-tactical results in Table Tennis and responds to the situation determined from interviews made to trainers and specialists, and from the experience of the work dedicated to this sport throughout years. The ways of evaluating the technical-tactical results assumed in table tennis do not answer to the up dated demands and do not allow interfering in the further preparation of the table tennis player. The previous situation derived in the following scientific problem How to achieve a more objective evaluation in the technical-tactical results in Table Tennis? As objective of this paper it was determined to establish indicators of the results permitting a more objective evaluation of the technical-tactical work done by the table tennis player. The indicators established were submitted to the expert’s criteria evaluation for is validation.
