Training approach on dry beach sand for middle distance and long distance athletes
Abstract
Nowadays, strength training for middle distance and long distance athletes it is considered an essential part of their physical preparation. Strength training can be developed using different resources, including training on dry beach sand, which according to the revised bibliography could help to improve strength, run technique and proprioception. These aspects and others, seems to be a good method for athletes training, for that reason this article develops a training approach on dry beach sand for middle distance and long distance athletes.
