Tecnología de apoyo y actividad física adaptada. Revisión integradora de la literatura

Resumen

La Tecnología de Apoyo (TA) consiste en un conjunto de recursos y servicios que contribuyen a proporcionar o ampliar las capacidades funcionales de las personas con discapacidad (PCD). El uso de la TA en la Actividad Física Adaptada (AFA) se configura en la democratización de las oportunidades de acceso de las PCD a programas diversificados de actividades físicas y deportivas. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la producción científica que involucra la interfaz "Tecnología de Apoyo y Actividad Física Adaptada" dirigida a personas con discapacidad. Desde una perspectiva cualitativa, se realizó un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo, caracterizado como una investigación bibliográfica. Se realizó una revisión integradora de la literatura utilizando “Tecnología de asistencia” AND “Educación física” OR “Actividad física” OR “Deporte” como expresión de búsqueda en cuatro bases de datos: Medline, Scopus, SciELO y Web of Science. Como forma de tratamiento de los datos se utilizó el análisis de contenido, dividiendo los resultados en tres categorías: Recursos y aparatos auxiliares para la locomoción en el deporte; Dispositivos y juegos electrónicos, tecnologías móviles (aplicaciones y software) y entornos virtuales de aprendizaje deportivo; Recursos tecnológicos diversificados aplicados al deporte. Se concluyó que la mayoría de los recursos de TA están dirigidos a personas con discapacidad física y dificultades de locomoción, prevaleciendo recursos tecnológicos de alta sofisticación y baja accesibilidad económica.
