Autonomia pessoal em estudantes autistas através de um sistema inclusivo de atividades psicomotoras num programa pré-profissionalizante
Resumo
Este estudo abordou as implicações das competências psicomotoras como campo de intervenção para o cuidado de um aluno autista com elevados níveis de suporte. O objetivo foi determinar de que forma o sistema inclusivo de atividades psicomotoras (SIAP) indicado influenciou a sua autonomia pessoal (AP). Foi realizado um estudo de caso, com amostragem voluntária, cuja metodologia de análise foi orientada pela teoria fundamentada, para elucidar o impacto da execução de um SIAP na AP. Os resultados mostraram o surgimento de uma teoria cuja categoria central é a AP como indicador de desenvolvimento integral, com categorias substantivas compostas por quatro conceitos: fatores potenciadores, fatores condicionantes, experiências adquiridas e manifestações comportamentais. As associações identificadas revelaram impactos significativos gerados pelas e sobre as categorias. O desenvolvimento da AP do aluno e o papel assumido pelo professor de Educação Física no SIAP convergem com perspetivas científicas sobre a autonomia como categoria que representa mais do que independência executiva. Concluindo, o SIAP desenhado gera um impacto favorável significativo na AP, com melhorias que não se restringem às capacidades físicas e motoras, pois promovem também a capacidade de adaptação, comunicação e participação ativa do aluno em diferentes contextos, gerando, por sua vez, um impacto favorável no seu desenvolvimento integral.
