Abstract

Data analysis has transformed how soccer is consumed, integrating metrics like expected goals (xG) and heatmaps into the everyday language of fans. This democratization of information allows for an analytical reading of the game and provides a basis for sports betting decisions. Nevertheless, the sport's unpredictability remains, requiring fans to approach both analysis and betting with responsibility and common sense.
