Abstract

Modern sport operates as a collectively and commercially constructed narrative. Matches follow a dramatic structure where fans, media, and brands create idols, rivals, and myths. Through new screens, advanced statistics, and sports betting platforms, fans transition from viewers to co-authors of the show. Understanding this dynamic allows one to enjoy the passion of sports while maintaining a critical eye toward its economic dimension.
