Tactical Analysis of Liga MX and Its Impact on the Playing Field
Abstract
Soccer in Mexico represents a dynamic cultural and social phenomenon driven primarily by Liga MX. Its short-tournament format (Apertura and Clausura) narrows the margin for error and raises the tactical demands for qualifying for the Liguilla (playoffs). High-profile clubs such as América, Toluca, and Cruz Azul vie for the title in a competitive environment shaped by intense local rivalries, geographical factors like altitude, and rigorous statistical analysis of squad performance.
