Abstract

The impact of major sporting events has evolved beyond ticket sales and television. Sponsoring companies transform communities through direct investments in local infrastructure, grassroots sports, preventative healthcare, and environmental sustainability. This smart sponsorship model generates a triple impact—economic, sporting, and social—demonstrating that corporate social responsibility transforms sporting events into a lasting tool for community transformation.
