Compact Blocking Strategy: Key to Defensive Efficiency and Game Analysis
Abstract
The compact blocking strategy is fundamental in modern soccer for optimizing defense by reducing space and improving coordination between lines (maintaining a distance of 20 to 25 meters). This tactic decreases shots on goal and facilitates ball recovery. Teams must be flexible, adjusting their pressure according to the area and the opponent's formation to force errors.
