Motivation to complete studies in students of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences
Abstract
In the present investigation an analysis is carried out about whether the motivation to finish the studies in students of the Degree in Sport Sciences and Physical Activity (SCPA) of the University of A Coruña (UDC) influences the evaluation of certain aspects of the Degree and the Faculty. A questionnaire designed ad hoc was used for the present investigation, which was validated by expert judgment. The study sample is made up of 272 subjects (207 men and 65 women), corresponding to 34.04% of the population. This sample is considered representative, meets a margin of error of 5% and a confidence level of 95%. The results obtained in this research indicate that a greater motivation towards the completion of studies by students has a significant relationship with a better assessment of certain aspects of the Degree and the Faculty.
