Notes on Qatar 2022 and the Men's World Cup
Abstract
A few days before the start of a new World Cup, an event that began in 1930, a record is made of the venues where it was held and the relationship with the winning teams and those that reached the final. To date, very few countries have won the World Cup, of which Brazil, Germany and Italy are the top winners. The favorites to obtain the Qatar 2022 Soccer World Cup are those who have already obtained it on previous occasions. On the other hand, Pelé is the maximum winner, being champion in three World Cups: 1958, 1962 and 1970. Brazil and Germany achieved the title venues outside their continent, if we consider the dispute between America and Europe. There are notable players who have never won first place with their national teams, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will have a new opportunity in Qatar.
