Andragogic Coaching for Higher Education Teachers of Automotive Technical Training
Abstract
It is a continuous training program called "Andragogic Coaching" as a basis for organizational, business, executive, sports, ontological coaching, with the aim of enhancing, skills and competences in the area of educational sciences, to teachers It has not been formed in undergraduate and graduate degrees in the educational area. It is approached from the topic of Andragogy and a priori applies to teachers of higher education in the School of Automotive Engineering in these future multiplier entities with their students - Coaches. It is a basic research; diagnostic descriptive type; On a micro-social scale; It is a double purpose, an application of the proposal for a future, an analysis, an expectation of positive results in the function of improving the quality of teaching of the teaching staff. The population of students enrolled in the semester of April-August 2017 corresponds to 546 and the sample is of 197 students from the fifth to the tenth semester of the MEC 2012 grid -pensum of study, how to realize the subjects of the professional axis 790 to perform the analysis of the evaluation of the student to the teacher–hetero-evaluation as part of the integral evaluation of the teacher according to the career and career ladder of the professor and researcher of the higher education system. Activities: teaching, research, management or academic management, links with society. The number of teacher’s full time: sixteen (16) being 69, 59%; teachers male gender fourteen (14) and female gender two (2); once (11) teachers fourth level education studies in 68, 75%, seven (7) teachers in fourth level degrees in the technical specialty -technological being 43, 75%; There are two (2) teachers who have fourth level degrees in both areas. The "Andragogic Coaching" is planned for the month of September until the semester of April-August 2019 consisting of three (3) modules: Principles of Andragogic Coaching, meaningful and integral learning in the classroom and effective communication and management scenarios.
