The Physical Education school and gender issues: a report of experience

  • Lucas Baptista Mousinho Lins Universidade Federal Fluminense

Abstract

This article aims to present my experiences during the undergraduate degree in Physical Education by the Fluminense Federal Universityand, located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, and discuss situations that end up making Physical Education classes divided by gender, showing that social aspects are relevant to address this theme. In this sense, I understand the importance of the debate on this subject, since it is increasingly present in Physical Education classes, especially in content about sports, especially soccer. It is worth mentioning that this situation reflects the society in which we live, bringing concepts and values within the walls of schools.
