Abstract

The system of technical exercises proposed in the work is aimed at solving the main research problem, given the inadequacies in the passage of the hurdles by male athletes of the male sex of this modality of athletics that receive their preparation in the EIDE "Pedro Diaz Coello" of Holguin. The conception of the system of technical exercises, grouped in blocks, starts from a theoretical platform that supports fundamental components, with its respective synergy that complements it. This is based on the theory of Verjoshanski, from the components programming, organization and control. In the first, the contents and the way to build the preparation process are determined. In the second, the organization is assumed as a practical realization of the set of exercises, in concrete conditions and the real possibilities of the athlete. The control is part of the monitoring of the preparation process with criteria previously established for the evaluation. The research includes a fourth component referring to the diagnosis, thus defining the main components that complement the proposal. The system of technical exercises, from its initial implementation, was encouraging the participation, as well as the gradual improvement of postural aspects during the execution of the technical ability, an issue that will contribute significantly in the elevation of the quality of the passage of the hurdles in the group investigated.
