Instagram for the promotion of Physical Education
Abstract
The mobile phone with its applications and social networks have burst strongly in recent years in this knowledge society of the 21st century. This entails an unbeatable opportunity to innovate in the subject of Physical Education in terms of the use of ICT in the classroom itself, but also outside it. With the use of social networks the idea is to share the information of sports activities and exchange experiences, ideas and motivations; in the case of this intervention project through the social network Instagram. The aim of this innovative work will be to work on the use of the Instagram mobile application in Physical Education to improve the motivation and performance of students, encouraging the promotion of physical activity of students in and out of the classroom through the Social Network.
