Playing with slackline in Physical Education classes: A report of experience
Abstract
Some works in radical sports in Physical Education classes have been made, however, there was not been a study that inquires the applicability of slackline from the games in Elementary Physical Education classes. The goal was to describe and analyze a class that uses some elements of slackline in a didactic and pedagogical way. This descriptive study was organized in a Physical Education class developed from a report of slackline experience, realized in a class of Physical Education in a scheme of historical circuit for classmates of 6 years old, from the second year for Elementary from a private school located in Santo André, São Paulo. The children create diverse ways for pass through the obstacles of the circuit, developing their own way of overcoming the challenges since the teacher do not bring any prepared or standardized solutions for the activities realized. Every child, without distinction, participate in the proposed activities, cooperating with colleges for the problems solution process, promoting the socialization between the children, as well as the experimentation of affection. The class presents itself as the possibility for ampliation of bodily activities related to radical sports, in particular, the slackline. As seen, the slackline (radical sport) play showed to be a possibility for a theme or of content for children beginning of classes of Physical Education. It is suggested the realization of the study with more time for the intervention and that use others didactics strategies.
