Self-assessment qualities of cuban elite boxers
Abstract
The research objective is to characterize the self-assessment in an intentional sample of 20 elite boxers, 10 outstanding and 10 non-outstanding. The Scale of Qualities of Yield is used (Del Monte, 2010) that is applied the boxers of the sample and the experts in the sport with the purpose of evaluating the characteristic self-assessment of yield qualities and their adaptation. The requirements for accredit like judges will be the following ones: To be trainers' of the national team boss or to be part of the technical community. To possess the specialization in boxing and more than ten years of professional exercise. It was carried out the statistical analysis of the data with SPSS, version 21.0 for Windows. When making the test U of Mann Whitney to evaluate the existent differences among outstanding and not outstanding was demonstrated that they don't show significant differences in the self-assessment (p > 0,05), the external evaluation (p > 0,05) and IEA (p > 0,05).
