Autonomía personal en estudiante autista mediante un sistema inclusivo de actividades psicomotrices en programa prevocacional
Resumen
Este estudio abordó las implicaciones de la psicomotricidad como campo de intervención para la atención de un estudiante autista con niveles de apoyo elevados. El objetivo fue determinar cómo el sistema inclusivo de actividades psicomotrices (SIAP) indicado influyó sobre su autonomía personal (AP). Se realizó un estudio de caso, con muestreo por voluntariado, cuya metodología de análisis se orientó mediante teoría fundamentada, para dilucidar el impacto de la ejecución de un SIAP sobre la AP. Los resultados mostraron la emergencia de una teoría cuya categoría central es la AP como indicador de desarrollo integral, con categorías sustantivas comprendidas por cuatro conceptos: factores potenciadores, factores condicionantes, experiencias adquiridas y manifestaciones conductuales. Las asociaciones identificadas revelaron impactos significativos generados por y sobre las categorías. El desarrollo de la AP del estudiante y el rol asumido por el docente de Educación Física en el SIAP confluyen con las perspectivas científicas acerca de la autonomía como una categoría que representa más que la independencia ejecutiva. En conclusión, el SIAP diseñado genera un impacto significativo favorable en la AP, con mejoras que no se restringen a las capacidades físicas y habilidades motoras por cuanto también fomentan la capacidad de adaptación, comunicación y participación activa del estudiante en diferentes contextos, generándose, a su vez, una repercusión favorable en su desarrollo integral.
