Abstract
The decentralization of education gives each institution autonomy in the elaboration of its own Institutional Education Project along lines which are congruent with the educational politic of the country. For this process to be a real tool of transformation, the participation of all the actors involved is required in thinking about and specifying the kind of school desired and in the design of specific projects for specific schools.
