Resumen
El uso del correo electrónico para recibir e intercambiar información de calidad se está expandiendo en todas las latitudes. La posibilidad cierta de acceder a información que hasta hace poco parecía imposible o requería demasiado tiempo hoy está al alcance del colectivo de actores del área de la Educación Física y el Deporte.
En nuestra área disciplinar, el uso de las redes informáticas permite imaginar nuevas perspectivas y posibilidades en torno al intercambio de información para producir nuevos conocimientos.

Abstract
The use of electronic mail to receive and exchange quality information is expanding worldwide. It is now possible for those involved in the field of physical education and sports to access information which heretofore was considered impossible or too time-consuming to obtain.
In our discipline, the use of information networks opens up new perspectives and possibilities for the exchange of information and the production of new lines of knowledge.
